Skye Communication, LLC was founded in 2003 and specializes in e-marketing, public relations, and promotions. Together, co-founders Skye MacBroom and Jim DeMicco bring to the table a diverse skill set and 18 years of experience collectively. “We manage and execute corporate communication campaigns and marketing programs for individuals, but we have a special niche in grassroots promotions,” says MacBroom.
SkyeComm has evolved over the past 5 years. It began as a traditional PR boutique representing corporate clients and high-profile personalities in the media. “Within the first few months of opening our doors, we landed spreads in Fortune Small Business, Coastal Living, and Bridal Guide. It was an exciting time,” explains DeMicco. “These national glossies led us to bigger and brighter opportunities.” Today, SkyeComm produces its very own eNewsletters and eZines for clients, providing the services of writing, editing, design, layout, distribution, and promotions. SkyeComm still offers press releases but has evolved into web design, print design, and freelance writing.
“We are here to make you look good,” says MacBroom. “With SkyeComm, you’ll benefit from the TLC of a small agency, but the know-how and diverse skill set of a larger firm. Need a publicist? We’ve got you covered. Is your website begging for an extreme makeover? Yup, we do that. Launching a newsletter and don’t know where to begin? We’re here for you.” SkyeComm offers flexible pricing structures with hourly rates, project fees, monthly retainers, and special marketing department to-go packages.
“We love what we do. SkyeComm is always on the lookout for new clients who are as passionate about their businesses as we are.” The Skye’s the limit. The office of SkyeComm is nestled in the woodsy foothills of Litchfield County, in the quaint town of Wolcott, Connecticut. “We can get into Manhattan or Boston in less than two hours and we’re a short drive to the airport so we can jet down to our clients in Jacksonville, D.C., or Denver,” says MacBroom. Have suitcase, will travel!
