Fall’s Deep New Hues
Face it – the 80’s are
back. Leggings, long tunic sweaters and skinny jeans
are all the rage for Fall fashion. Dallas the movie
is in the works, and what’s next? Big hair? As th e
80’s are coming back, so are bright lips and eyes that
would make the Material Girl blush. The only catch?
You need super clean clear skin to pull off these radiant
jewel toned makeup looks.
Don’t stash your bronzer away just yet… sweep a bronzing
cream or gel across cheekbones to highlight clear skin,
but be sure to cover up those age spots and summer
freckles first. Gently rub your cheeks to see where
they naturally flush, then add a soft pink powder blush to
the apples of your cheeks for a flushed, clean look with
great staying power due to the combo of cream bronzer and
powder blush. Then try the season’s new palette of
eye shadows in shades of soft peach and pink. A
strong bold eyeliner will frame your lower lashes and give
definition when blended with a wine eye shadow for a
decidedly punk-inspired eye. Try a heated eyelash
curler and add a coat of wine or dark chocolate mascara to
open up the eyes and make them pop. Dramatic eyes
are balanced out with simple glamorous lip stains in
shades of red and fuchsia. Add a subtle touch of
glimmery lip-gloss to the center of your upper lip’s cupid
bow to enhance fullness. Now take out your Aqua Net
and jelly bracelets… |
