Director of Marketing
Jim DeMicco co-founded Skye Communication, bringing his
expertise in sports marketing, advertising and business
management to the company. Prior to joining Skye
Communication, Jim worked as a product manager at The Danbury
Mint where he was responsible for over $12 million in annual
direct marketing sales. While at The Danbury Mint, Jim was
in charge of coordinating advertising materials, managing
creative design teams, projecting sales & shipment numbers,
maintaining product inventory, and analyzing marketing results
for national direct marketing campaigns. Jim’s accounts
included the NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, Campbell’s Soup, NASCAR,
Disney, WWE, M.I. Hummel, and NHL. Today, Jim manages the
marketing efforts, ad buys, media contact lists and campaign
distribution for Skye Communication. Jim’s passion for
photography and design is reflected in the company’s
communication campaigns, web design, brochures, eNewsletters,
and e-marketing efforts; because good design is just as
important as good content.
Jim has a passion for public
speaking; his leadership skills led him to earn a degree in
political science from Yale University. Always fascinated
by the media’s ability to mold our society, Jim’s plan of study
at Yale focused on the power of the press in American
government. Today Jim takes great pride in promoting civic
organizations, working to spread the message of special causes
that make a difference in the community.
